Kalinga International Coal Terminal, Paradip Pvt Ltd (KICTPPL)
This terminal has been developed under Built Operate Transfer ( BOT ) agreement between Paradip Port Trust (PPT) and Kalinga International Coal Terminal Paradip Private Limited, KICTPPL (SPV set up by , Bothra Shipping Services Pvt Ltd, Kakinada Seaports Ltd and Ripley & Co Stevedoring & Handling Pvt. Ltd.)
The 12 MMTPA capacity terminal commenced operation by January 2022. The terminal is designed to handle all types of import coal required for power plants and steel plants in the hinterland of Odisha and neighbouring states. The terminal is capable of handling capsize vessel up to the size of 165,000T DWT.
