Kakinada Deep Water Port Fertilizer Terminal - KDWPFT
Sarat Chatterjee & Co (Visakhapatnam) has established the KDWPFT at berth no.6 of Kakinada Deep Water Port under license from Kakinada Seaports Ltd. The Terminal is on Design Build Operate Maintain and Transfer (DBOMT) basis and was established in 2014.
KDWPFT is a mechanised, integrated Bulk Fertilizer, handling and packaging terminal with a capacity of 6 MMTPA. It also has the capability of Online Neem coating for Imported Urea, fully compliant with the GOI guidelines. The entire system is centrally controlled and monitored with CCTV. All the major Fertilizer importers in India use this Terminal due to the ease of availability of rakes and vicinity to agricultural belt of Central and East coast region
